Dynamo Light Tryout Night
Posted on March 01 2017
Daylight savings is sadly almost over, and now is the time to think about dynamo lights. We love them - they're super bright, never run out of juice, and take up so little riding energy. But don't fret if you don't know anything about which one to choose - come along to our Dynamo Light Tryout Night and find out for yourself!
The first weekday night of no daylight savings, we'll be set up in Centennial Park so you can try out different bikes with different dynamo setups. We'll have a huge range, from Shutter Precision, Shimano and Schmidt SON hubs to Busch & Muller, AXA and Schmidt SON lights, plus the latest in USB-charging lights for those who aren't quite ready to make the leap. The park gets pretty dark, so you'll be able to do a couple of laps and see which setup you like best! Even better, bring your bike and we can recommend the best dyanmo setup for your bike and your specific needs.
The night will take place from 6:30pm to 9pm on Monday the 3rd of April near the Horse Gates in Centennial Park (also known as the Robertson Rd gates, on the corner of Robertson Rd and Lang Rd). All the info can be found on the event page here. Just look out for all the lights!
