It has been designed from the ground up as a compelling introduction to the brand. As such, it exemplifies many of the best qualities of a Surly: a high quality steel frame, thoughtful design, a legendary 'ride-feel', and a generous selection of mounting points for gear and accessories. The drop bar Preamble builds on the runaway success of its flat bar sibling, catering to those who prefer a more aerodynamic riding position.
The Preamble is disc-brake specific and shares a single-position vertical dropout with Surly Bridge Club. For new weekend riders and veteran commuters, Preamble makes it easier than ever to get out of the car and on top of tough and comfortable Chromoly steel.
