There is a bit of a tricky thing with pedals: riders often want larger pedals for more grip and control, but the bike industry assumes this means just mountain bike pedals with huge shin destroying pins and lurid colour ways.
The options for larger moderatly grippy pedals that look good on a more classic style bike or suit a subdued aesthetic have been few and far between.
These pedals came out of a collab between Crust Bikes and MKS pedals Japan.
