Returns for change of mind

We have a fairly generous return policy for parts and accessories - if you change your mind, and an item is unmarked, and the packaging is not damaged, we'll refund your purchase.

Items need to be returned within 60 days, and you need your receipt or online order reference.

However, we can't take returns of helmets or other safety equipment, or clothing or shoes. If the packaging is damaged or the item is dirty, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee.

If the item was special ordered, or required assembly (e.g. wheels, conversions, custom builds) by us we do not take change of mind returns.

Payments received via PayPal won't be fully refunded, as PayPal do not refund the processing fee.

We do not accept change of mind returns or exchanges for bikes. For online purchases of bikes it is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the bike meets their needs and is the correct size.

For change of mind returns or exchanges for parts & accessories (customer remorse), return shipping fees are to be covered by the customer. Please email us before returning your item to ensure your return can be approved. Please return within 60 days of receiving your item. Return items must be unfitted and in brand new and resellable condition with all packaging – including all product tags, labels & original packaging. Refunds will be processed once we receive the item. Shipping cannot be refunded.
For faulty, incorrectly supplied or damaged parts & accessories, return shipping fees will be covered by Omafiets. Please email us to start a return. We will send a shipping label. Please return within 60 days of receiving your item. Please cross check all products on your original order against your packing list immediately on receipt of goods.

Bicycle & e-bike warranties

Bombtrack bicycles

Bombtracks have a three year warranty on the frame, two years on forks, and one year on parts.

Brompton bicycles

All Brompton bicycle frames come with a 5 year warranty from the date of purchase. If registered, Brompton frames have a 7 year warranty when registered. All other non-wearing components have a 2 year warranty.

The electrical components on the Brompton Electric are covered by a 2 year warranty, on Brompton Electric C Line models this can be extended to 3 years when registered. Full terms and conditions can be found here.

Brother Cycles

Brother frames are guaranteed against manufactures and materials faults or defects for 3 years from the date of purchase. Paintwork is not covered under this warranty. For more details, read here.

ByK kids bikes

These bikes really are the only kids bike good enough for us to sell. They're so good that we offer a lifetime warranty, entitling the original purchaser to free repairs including parts. Since kids sometimes grow faster than you expect, we offer a 50% trade-in within the first year, and a 30% trade-in within 3 years of purchase.

Curve Cycling

Curve Cycling bikes come with a 33 year warranty on titanium frames, 5 years on steel frames, carbon rims, axles and other titanium products not otherwise mentioned.

2 Years on Rocket Pooch titanium cage, handlebars, carbon forks, seat posts, seat clamps, aluminium rims, and custom paint (peeling and cracking only) arranged by Curve Cycling.

1 Year on Rocket Pooch bags, headsets, bottom brackets, paint (peeling and cracking only) on Curve Cycling frames and forks and surface finishing on Curve Cycling products (eg anodising on axles)

Jamis bicycles

Jamis bicycles come with a lifetime frame warranty (excepting carbon frames/forks), and a one year warranty for all the components.

Moustache e-bicycles

Moustache bicycles have 5 years limited warranty for the frame and 2 years for bicycle components as well as the Bosch motor system, from the date of purchase. Finishing elements such as the paintwork and stickers are guaranteed for 1 year against any defect. The warranty applies only to the first owner of the bike and is not transferable in the event of resale. Full details are here

Riese & Muller bicycles

Riese & Muller offer a two-year warranty on their bikes, which can be upgraded to a five-year warranty if you register your bike with them within four weeks or purchase. Batteries are guaranteed that they will still have a capacity of 60% after two years or 500 full charge cycles (whichever comes first). All warranty promises relate to private customers in the initial purchase.

Specialized bicycles

Specialized offer a lifetime warranty on their frames and forks, upgraded from 2 years, if you register your bike with them within four weeks or purchase. Specialized Turbo batteries are covered for 2 years or 300 charge cycles, whatever comes first.

Surly bicycles

Surly bikes have a 3 year frame warranty and a one year warranty on all components.

Tern bicycles

Tern bicycles owners can double their 5-year warranty to a 10-year frame, fork and handlepost warranty if they sign up to Tern Care. Under Tern Care there is a 1 Year warranty on all Tern or BioLogic branded parts and components. Any other parts or components are covered by the stated warranty of the original manufacturer of that part or component.

Owners who sign up for Tern Care will be covered by an extended 10-year warranty for the Frame, Handlepost, and Fork, as long as they sign up within 30 days of purchase and are the original purchasers.

Vivente bicycles

Vivente bicycles have a 15 year warranty on the frame and fork, and a one year warranty on all other parts.

Services and repairs

All of our services and repairs have a 6 month warranty. That means that if something goes out of adjustment or needs fixing again within 6 months, we'll do it for free (excluding damage caused by wear and tear, or crashes).

New parts

All new parts we sell have at least a 1 year warranty (longer if provided for by the manufacturer). This doesn't cover wear and tear, or crash damage.
