Description
Looking for a front rack that manages to combine cargo capacity with svelte and speedy good looks ? The Align diamond rack is an inovative new front rack designed by a German bike collective. It works brilliantly on everything from touring bikes, to fast randonneuring setups and bikepacking.
This front rack was brewed and born right in the Fern Bicycles workshop in Berlin. Over the past years we handbuilt numerous and kept on improving this unique design. Finally we are proud to present this production model, which was made with the same great attention to detail and from the same 0.8mm thin walled high strength 25CrMo4 steel as if it would be handmade by us!
Featuring our famous 3D bend diamond design, it is the perfect front rack for all those searching for a smaller rack which fit's perfectly on a fast randonneur, gravel or race bike. This rack makes your bike look even faster than without one!
The Diamond rack allows you to carry a handlebar bag, a sleeping bag or a sixer... what ever it takes to improve your bikepacking or randonneuring adventure.
We stock the long 420mm rack stays. The long stays are for for dropout fender eyelet mounting and can be cut down for mid fork leg lowrider or anything cage eyelet mounting.
If you are in doubt which length you'll need always go for the long stays,... you can always cut them down to the right length.
We also only stock just the UK version/Australian version. For folks that drive on the left of the road, it positions the light on the right side which is the side closer to traffic.

Many people ask how much load the rack can handle and it actually can carry a lot. We have been testing it with up to 70kgs.
But, usually the fork mounting points / eyelets are the weakest link in the chain. Especially on carbon forks you should be very careful not to overload or over torque the mounting points.
ALWAYS check back with the maker of the fork how much weight it can carry!
Also for bike handling reasons, we usually recommend to use our racks for a maximum load of around 5-8 kgs.
All racks are made in Taiwan.
