Bikepacking has evolved , and at the behest of adventurers, a new bike has emerged— the Kona Unity . It's arguably the most versatile bike of all, but it's unfair to limit it to just one category. It's a mountain bike, gravel bike, and bikepacking mule all in one —a true iron beast built to go further, deeper, and harder than most bikes dare.

We wanted big tires . And even a mixed wheel formula (MX) ! Trendy? Maybe. But we chose it because it moves the center of gravity lower , provides a stronger rear wheel and gives more space for panniers and saddlebags .

We wanted more load capacity without sacrificing ride quality. So we optimized the geometry for laden riding, adjusting the fork offset and steering to keep the bike stable even when fully loaded.

With an integrated front rack that mounts directly to the frame and an enlarged front triangle for maximum framebag compatibility, Unity is ready for your biggest adventures and expeditions .
