Description
A unique product for adding width to your handlebars, giving an old bar a whole new feel. Largely hidden under the grips they just give you a boost to comfort and control
Availible in v1 or v2 with different price points. Compatible with many older handlebars.
Why would anyone want or need to extend there handlebar length?
1) Some older city bar designs (like the Nitto Promenades) were not designed to fit bar mounted shifters along with brake levers and grips.
2) A lot of older mountain bikes had narrow bars than what we prefer using today
3).Sometimes we make a mistake when trimming down bars,
V1 adds 50mm to each side. V2 can add either 30mm or 60mm to each side and has an upgraded expander deign.
• For city/MTB bars with 22.2mm OD.
• Aluminum construction
• Screw-on end caps included.
• Comes in black or silver
• DO NOT use on bars that have been partially machined out at the ends (to fit bar end shifters or reverse levers) This includes Soma Oxford, Sparrow and 3-speed II bars
• ID not sized to accept reverse levers or bar end shifters.
• Requires a 6mm hex key (at least 20mm long) to install
