About this product

This is a headset for bikes with 44mm internal diameter head tubes, such as the Surly Karate Monkey, Surly Midnight Special, and many other modern steel bikes.

It has an internal top cup, an external lower cup, and a crown race for a 1.5" (tapered) fork crown race seat.

  • Internal upper, external lower headset designed for frames with 44mm straight head tubes with 1-1/8" to 1.5" tapered steerers.
