Generally great, with room for improvement

For the price point this bike is a great option for those looking to avoid the higher cost of a similar Tern bike.
The front suspension is very comfortable, cock-pit layout is user friendly, smooth gear shifting and brakes have the feeling of good quality and reliability.
Battery range, acceleration and function of the mid-drive engine all work nicely.
The battery is pretty easy to remove for home charging if needed.
The pannier fits two kids seats fairly easily, though if you use another brand of seats without the direct mount option, the seat behind the driver can end up a bit close to the pedal stroke and I catch my heel on the front kids seat because of that.
My biggest criticism of this bike is the pedal cadence settings - the front sprocket is too small - which means in 5th gear you easily top out at the motors speed limited setting of 23 km/h. The pedal cadence is uncomfortably fast at this speed, and the absence of a hand throttle means you have to keep pedaling at this high rate to keep the motor coasting you at 23km/h.

The solution would obviously be a slightly larger front sprocket to bring that pedal cadence down to a leisurely pace. BUT! the frame design would now allow this, there is only a very small clearance between the front sprocket and the middle horizontal pannier frame connecting to the seat tube of the frame.
I think this section sticks out to allow for the mounting of a second battery behind the seat tube if desired.
I think this is such a shame, and shows that the bike was designed in a bit of a hurry because this is such a simple oversight. The only way to resolve it would be to cut into the frame to allow more clearance for a bigger front sprocket....or perhaps replacement of the rear gears with higher ratios. I'm genuinely thinking of cutting into the frame of mine even though that would of course void the warranty. The pannier frame seems to be a bit over-engineered in that area anyway, with 3 horizontal tubes on each side connecting to the seat tube and bottom bracket areas...surely no one would miss a section of one of them!
